Avid sim players will know the fact that virtual world simulators come in different types. This chef has to serve his or her customers as quick as they could so they could gain a lot of in-game cash. This sub-genre of virtual world simulators is known for being very exciting, and challenging, of course. Then, we have the farm simulator. The popular Farm Frenzy series belongs to this genre. Although similar to the restaurant sim, the farm sim focuses more on producing and earning as much money as you can by selling off your produce or using them to make items that you can sell off for a higher price. Still, it is as exciting as the restaurant sim. Finally, we have the social world simulator. This genre is all about making social interactions with people, real people who control the avatars, but it can also be called a dating simulator because, after all, one of the things you can do in the world is to take other people out on a date.

The biggest reason we see people look to Straight Talk instead of Verizon is the cost of service, but there are similar plans and there are definitely benefits to choosing Verizon over Straight Talk for some customers. Both plans come with unlimited U. These also include mobile hotspot support. On both of these plans you need to buy your own phone or bring one that works with that carriers. Verizon vs Straight Talk:
Partially funded by Google, it was revealed last week during the HotMobile technology conference in Jekyll Island, Georgia, and promised to identify individuals based on the clothes they wear. According to the report, developer Srihari Nelakuditi joined forces with Romit Roy Choudhury and colleagues at Duke University to develop a recognition system based on a “fashion fingerprint” of a person’s outfit.
This fingerprint includes jewelry, badges and glasses in addition to the person’s favorite shoes or shirt. To create the fingerprint, a smartphone app is used to acquire a series of photos of the user as they surf the Internet, read email and whatnot. The app then takes those images and saves the spatial distribution of colors, textures and patterns of the subject’s clothes into a file called a “spatiogram”.
When you use a browser, like Chrome, it saves some information from websites in its cache and cookies. Clearing them fixes certain problems, like loading or formatting issues on sites.
Updated to add that Zillow is also planning apps for Glass. Walk down a street wearing Google Glass, and you can see alerts about nearby houses on the market. The alerts are courtesy of Trulia , the real estate site, which this week introduced an app for Google Glass. It is one of only a handful of apps available for the Internet-connected glasses, and is an example of how software developers are experimenting with the new device. On Google Glass, people can scroll through photographs, get walking directions to a house, hear a description, save a listing to an account and call or e-mail a real estate agent.
Like Yelp or Google Maps, real estate sites like Trulia are an example of services that are often more helpful on mobile devices than on computers, because people use them to learn more about their current location. More than half of weekend traffic and a majority of leads for real estate agents come from mobile devices, according to Trulia. But the app raises the question of whether people want to see the information pushed to a screen in front of their eyes.
Zillow, another real estate site, is also preparing apps for Glass. Like Trulia, the Glass apps will connect customers with real estate agents, which is one way both companies make money. Building apps for Glass, known as Glassware, is a still a gamble for developers. No one wants to miss out on the next big thing, but there is no guarantee that Glass is it.

They said it would allow them to operate in a ‘truly hands-free fashion’ as opposed to having one hand on the camera. Parks departments and banks across America are also waiting to see how the new technology is used before deciding whether or not to ban them. Google’s chairman Eric Schmidt once admitted that the aim with technology like Google Glass was to ‘go right up to the creepy line and not cross it’. But the public clearly feels differently and in France those wearing Google Glass style specs have been subjected to ‘cyber discrimination’.

Mail A woman who was issued with a traffic ticket for driving while wearing Google Glass has been found not guilty of watching television while driving. Software developer Cecilia Abadie was pulled over for speeding in October last year, and the officer cited her for using a visible “monitor” – a charge usually issued to people driving while watching a television. It is the first known alleged traffic violation for wearing Google’s computer eyeglass while driving.
The verdict following a trial in a San Diego traffic court could help shape future laws on wearable technology as it goes mainstream. Court commissioner John Blair said:
True love. Is it worth it to take a chance at finding love in a foreign country? I did. And I just passed the year mark with Marlene. Well, you can’t fall in love without putting yourself out there and playing the dating game, whether it be in the physical world or in the online arena.
Why not leave all that work to a computer? Perhaps you could use this experimental app that works in Google Glass. Aim Glass’s camera at a person’s face and the app reads the human’s facial expression and tells you to what extent the person is feeling happy, sad, angry, or surprised. As a bonus, the app guesses the person’s age and gender. Evaluating whether you want to hit on that person is still up to you.
Kidding aside, an app like this could help people with conditions, such as autism, that makes it hard for them to read emotions. The app is supposed to work entirely on Google Glass’ CPU, so it doesn’t need to send the images Glass records to the cloud. That means the app could work when the glasses don’t have a data connection, which is nice. It could also keep the images the glasses record for the app more secure—the images are supposed to stay on the device and never enter the cloud.
A video demo of the software shows a prototype of the app on a laptop. The app, and the demos, all come from Fraunhofer, a German applied research institute.
